Where do you buy bird spikes??

Home Depot and Lowe's don't have them, and I'm looking for a store, and avoiding online dealers because i need them asap.

  1. Bird spikes being the lines of spikes installed to keep them from hanging out and nesting in certain areas?  

    You can make your own by purchasing some wire mesh used as fencing or to reinforce concrete.  Then, you cut through the middle of the crossbars going in one direction only, leaving you a long wire with longish bits of cut wire sticking out of the sides.  Then put on some gloves and fold the cut pieces upwards, to they form a "v".  Then just staple this down onto the place you want to protect from their nests or their f***s.  It does not damage them, it just makes them unable to comfortably sit on the surface so they roost other places.  You can use aluminum wire mesh for a more long-lived rust-less product, and you can use a smaller mesh or more lines of the wire together if you have smaller birds to deal with.
