Where do you catch Rhyhorn/don in Pokemon FireRed?

I want a Rhydon in Pokemon FireRed, but I would prefer to catch a semi-low leveled Rhyhorn and evolve it myself. Where is the first place I can catch one, and at what level does it evolve? Or by stone?

safari zone, they are pretty common everywhere in there. It evolves at level 42.

RHYHORN---> LV 42---> RHYDON - it can be found in the SAFARI ZONE in areas 2 & center
