Where do you find ghosts?

Question

I know that you probably won't find them in graveyards at night and obvious stuff like that. I'm not really sure if I believe in ghosts, but I want to, I really wanna find some proof of something. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll get a picture so I know it's real.

Where do I look? If you don't know, or don't have an idea, don't answer. Thank you.

Get a ouija board

or you could research for haunted locations near your house.

pretty fun more than scary trust me.

There is a graveyard near my house (country Australia) and the last person to be buried there was in 1899 and you can actually see through the ground to the coffins and bodies it awesome and me and my friends are going there at night for my birthday!!!!! LOL

p.s. still looking for my first ghost there

Ghosts can be found in many places.  Do not dismiss graveyards.  I have found if a graveyard does not have a church on the grounds, there is more likely to be some activity there.  Not to mention it is just plain spooky and a good time anyway.  

Are there places where there was unsolved murders in your area?  Those places may also be haunted.  Tragic events can cause hauntings.   Hauntings can also be good things.  A house that had many years of happy times for example, can later give off that feeling of happiness.  However the same is true if the house was filled with dread and abuse.  It can exude feelings of unease and unhappiness.  

The theory goes that a ghost can be found in one of three places.  Where their body is, where they died, or where they were the happiest.  I have seen evidence of all three.  Good luck.

Actually you can find them in graveyards. It's one of the most likely place they will be.

But if you do go looking for ghosts then you need to be careful because there are evil spirits and it can lead to bad things.

You can really look anywhere and there is a chance you will find.

You may find a lot of Orbs as well.

Just grab a camera go out at night and see if you can find anything... The only way to find is to look, and if you can't find then wait and they can come to you. =)

ghosts are spirits of people who haven't "moved on", usually because of an unfinished task when they were still alive,

or when their resting place is disturbed, try knocking down an angel statue in the graveyard or something

Haunted house tours. It's not necessarily to do with seeing one, but feeling ones presence.

I have seen ghosts before, of deceased rellies.

It's quite scary, although the thought is so fascinating, you will get scared.

Ghost story: The first time I saw a ghost was at my friends house. He never told me there was a ghost in his house that paces up the hallway and back into the bathroom. All day and all night. I saw it! And it spoke. Never again do I want that to happen!!!

What you mean, "won't find them in graveyards at night and obvious stuff like that"? Graveyards are where most people begin, you may not get a specific ghost, but you could get an orb, many orbs actually. If I could I would post a picture I have of orbs in a Charleston, SC graveyard, but my computer is being a bit funny at the moment.

Capturing footage of a ghost is sort of like capturing footage of an animal. Some animals are more active at a certain time. Ghosts are more active at night. It is sort of like a better reception.

You could find ghosts by pretty much going into historic, older buildings or cities. For instance a historic building sometimes gives ghost tours. All you would have to bring is a good camera, open mind, and good debunking skills.

As well, you might have a better chance at having a more personal hunt in a home that is if someone lets you.

Pretty much look for buildings that have a lot of history, good or bad, murder or council meetings. Then check which ones say they are haunted.

As for equipment:

As said before you need a good camera to take pictures. As well, a respectable knowledge on how it works so you know when it isn’t working properly.

Another good thing to have is a digital voice recorder. With this you can hold an EVP session (Electronic Voice Phenomenon).What you do is sit  in a  room,  ask questions, take pictures, then later after your investigation is done, play back the recording and see if you hear a voice that isn’t yours or something responding to your questions. You most likely aren’t going to hear the voice while doing the session though.

Another thing to have is a thermometer to check the temperature. See, when ghosts draw energy to manifest, its believed they take it from electronics and the air, making it colder.

TWO big things to have are an open mind and good debunking skills. Always look for another alternative for the phenomenon experienced

Well, I'd suggest you to watch the shows on T.V called Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters, ETC...

They go through haunted places/houses such as Virginia City and more.

Don't bother to look ...there aren't any .....If anyone says there are.... ....ask them to prove it to you ......always storeys ..and more storeys ...however no Proof...you will find they can't .....it's all Hollywood and misinterpretations.....
