The VIN is usually on they toung of the trailor stamped into the metal in fairly large number/letters. Also It should be in a closet door or utility door somewhere in the trailor along with weight limits and passenger capacity etc.....

try the tongue of it or along the frame

The VIN will be located on the fram rails. There should be a metal plate with all the information. You can also get the VIN off the tiler.
