Where do you find the transmitter on a harber breeze ceiling fan with remote control?

when I try to turn on my ceiling fan with the remote control the remote will light up like it wants to work but wont activate the fan or the light . I wander if the transmitter and fan are on different fequencies since we did have the remote open to replace the batteries, and mabe moved the setting. I need to see if they are both on the same setting, but dont know where to look on the fan for transmitter

there might be a dipswitch code programmer within the fan unit itself. it would be necessary so that you don't activate other fans close by. look to see if there is a small access panel on the ceiling fan. good luck.
