  1. I guess you're going to ignore all of our responses to your other question... so.. I guess you could get one from the local shelter or Husky rescue so you'll know where to take it back in a few months when you realize it's not the dog for your family!

If you don't care about the honest responses to your questions... then don't bother to ask the questions. How sad.

  2. It really depends on where you live. There are many fantastic Husky rescues that you may look into. I live in So.Cal and we have an amazing rescue. My family has adopted 3 of our 4 huskies from the Southern California Husky rescue (www.huskycamp.com)    They run a great program, and I imagine most are similar. They ask you your preferences and likes in a husky, and they can match you up with a dog. If you have smaller kids, you might want to get an older husky, they are much calmer. Husky camp offers both puppies and adults. My family just adopted a 1 yr old red/white husky in December, and he is great with all kids. (All huskies we have had have been amazing with the kids!!) They travel to different pet stores around CA with a bunch of dogs to meet. It is a great experience. Best of luck! Hope this helps!

  3. Nowhere. Chrissy this is not the right dog for a first time dog owner and you shouldn't be buying a dog your kids like just because they think its cute/cool looking.

Find another dog if one at all more suitable for your family.

  4. well, there is an amzing and good for the whole world solution. petfinder.com        it has listings and pictures of all homeless and in need dogs, cats etc in your area and all over the us. these are all non profit org who only charge the costs that are needed to cover the shots and such. most of these dogs are in pounds or in private homes (foster homes) until they can find the right home. on the webpage you have the option to pick breed, size and age and put in your zip code and it will automatically give you a list of the closest dog sin your area. always check your local pound, where I live (NC)they euthanize dogs by gas chamber.......hopefully its different where you are! hope this helps!

  5. Try your local Animal Shelter or Husky Rescue! I'm sure you will find the perfect Husky puppy and you'll be saving a life at the same time!

  6. ...umm u shure u did all ur homework and stuff....u just cant jump right in and get a dog. go to a shelter or call a rescuue (find onlie or in magazines) ...save a life. never promote breeders AND NEVER EVER BUY A DOG ONLINE>>>puppie millss!

  8. The best place to get a husky puppy from is from a registered breeder on the Siberian Husky Club of America. They also have a lot of good information on their web site about husky traits and such.

    Here is the breeder list:

I got mine from a breeder listed here, and she is awesome. She sends me our local husky club newsletters every month, she invites me to club events, and she visits sometimes with my Sibe's sister, so they both get to play together. My breeder is also very knowlegeable and has helped me with a lot of my questions.
