  1. Depends on what carrier you use, what kind of phone you have, and what firmware is programmed into the phone (usually carrier specific)

My carrier is Verizon, and I have a Motorola RAZR V3m with a current firmware, so for my service, if you download music via Vcast, you have to pay per song, also, since my phone comes with a mini USB B connector, I can directly connect it to a PC and the PC will recognize it as the phone it is, but I have to install a driver and software to make it work, and just like other musinc product syncing software, it \comes with it's own music store, and just like the phone, it will use the Vcast service for the music downloads, so, again, you have to pay for Vcast downloads there, but the software does allow importing music from a CD or from music files like MP3, so you simply download your music from a P2P program like LimeWire, FrostWire, Bearshare, Ares, or other downloading program, and import to the phone's sync software, software, then sync the given song to the phone, disconnect the phone according to the sync software, and go to the media player on the phone, then you should be able to play the music you synced to the phone for free

  2. I not sure if I should tell you this try limewire or a p2p site

  3. myxertones.com and phonezoo.com

  4. get lime wire http://www.limewire.com plug your phone into your computer then drag and drop the songs, the songs are usually in documents/limewire/saved

    hope i help :D
