  1. Where ever hand tools are sold.

There's all kinds in the Yellow Pages under hand tools.  Save GAS! Call see if they have what you want....

  2. Absolutely go to a Sears store for hand tools.  great warranty and depending on the store, lots of selection.  If they don't have the specific item you need in stock, they can order it and have it shipped to the store or to you home.  You can also pick up a tool catalog there and have more choices than you can imagine.  Don't forget to join the Craftsman Club, you will get additional discounts on some items when they run on sale.

  3. If theres a Harbor Freight store around you they sell inexpensive tools. If your doing it as a business you might want to invest in better ones but for around the house they have good prices.

  4. i think Lee has given a very good answer, but i wants to add one more thing.if u want them just for one time use for a single project,u can go to craigslist.

  5. You must be a Brit. no offense, just observation.

If you have a Sears store there, the tool department is best. Craftsman Brand tools have a lifetime warranty. There are on-line sites for tools, also. ( http://www.craftsman.com/toolsequipment.... ), ( http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=ca... ) or ( http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stor... ) are 3 great sites.

  6. Homedepot

  7. Sears is always a good place.
