Where do you get the little yahoo characters from (the ones next to your username)?

Click on your screen name ID to go to your homepage, click on the right "edit my info" where it say avatar...pick a yahoo avatar...clothes, hairdo, skin color , face shape, etc.

search in yahoo for "yahoo avatars" and you can create one there.

Those are called Avatars. You can create one that looks like you or just a random person by logging into your yahoo e-mail. On the regular old mail, before clicking on "Inbox" or whatever, there should be a black and white picture of a little person. Then just click on the little person and follow the directions in creating your own Yahoo Avatar. Hope I could help! =] Have a good day!

You can try to answer a question. (Press Answer on the top of the page.) Then it asks  for your username and password, that brings you to a page where you can edit your member ship you see little pictures of the man (when you have no avatar) and click EDIT AVATAR.
