Where do you get wires for science fair projects?

My science fair project is: Can Water Be Split into Hydrogen and Oxygen?

I need wires for this experiment but I don't know where to get it.

Does anybody know? Oh, and do copper wires work?

You can get the wires at any electrical supply store or at a computer store.  Yes, copper should work.  Best of luck with your project.

I found some neat sites.  The sites may help you develop your project.  Also, there is plenty of wire for sale on Ebay.  The last site specifically talks about splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen.
