  1. the bank who is holding your loan has it. not the dealer.


  2. Where do you send your car payments?  That bank will hold on to your title until the loan is paid off, then they will send it to you.

  3. Whoever you make your auto payment to.  They usually have your title. If they don't have it you could have a problem on your hands.  If that's doesn't work you may have to file a lost title, and if this doesn't work you may have to call an attorney.

  4. dmv.  apply for a paperless title

  5. the bank that financed you has it

  6. Talk to the the DMV they'll help you
