Where do you go to get a metre readers job?

I'd go to the local water, electric or gas company.

If its water meter reading that you are considering then you should contact the water utilities directly - be aware that water meter reading can be a very messy job!

If it's gas or electricity meter reading then you can try the utilities directly but be aware that much of this work is outsourced to 3rd party organisations like Lowry Beck, Accuread, Siemens Metering, Freedom Group etc. For a full list of approved meter reading companies you could try contacting the energy regulator Ofgem.
