Where do you go to sell your invention?

I have a few invention, that all work together, but I don't know how to get my idea out there, and sell it to a company. I don't want to pay high expensives, or leave my idea in another persons hands, and trust them to get it out there for me. I'd rather just take it to the company myself, and try selling them the idea myself. But I don't know where to begin. Any information is helpful! Thanks!

  1. i'm in the same boat as you.  you have to get it patented.  VERY VERY VERY few people will just take your word that it's your idea and run with it.  i have about 4 inventions myself and have yet to get one patented.  one day though it will happen.

i tried doing it the way that you want to do it but it's very hard.  although i would do it if i had the monet to back something just because i know how hard it is for people like you and i, not a lot of people are willing.  you can email me thru my profile if you want to pool our resources together and c what we can come up with.

  2. I understand that you want to be carefull about giving information about your invention but you need to tell us(the readers) what the in invention is about.

Also you need to patent for your invention so that nobody can take it from you.

As to how to sell idk...

  3. Before you approach anybody you  must apply for a patent and once you get the patent then you will have protection from copying your ideas  .Apply to the Patents Office  you will find  them on the web.I patented a safety tool myself without a patent agent but it has taken nearly 4 years to fine line the details!{i have since found out that 4 years is about average!!!!!!}.
