Where do you go to tell that you have a video card on your laptop?

Where do you click on to tell where is your video card? My laptop is a dell inspiron E1505

  1. right click on my computer then left click properties.

    left click on the hardware tab then left click on the Device Manager button.

    Left click on the + sign next to Display adapters...What appears next is your video card. You can right click on the video card for more options.


  2. If you have XP you click on the Start Menu, then right click on My Computer, then click on Manage, then you click on Device Manager. It should be listed under Display Adapters.

    IF YOU ARE ON Windows XP.

    1. Click Start

    2. Go to 'Run'

    3. Type in the box "dxdiag" without the quotes.

    4. Go to the 'Display' Tab

    If you are on windows VISTA

    1. Click on start orb

    2. In the search area, type "dxdiag" without the quotes

    3. Go to the 'Display' tab

    Once in the Display tab, it should tell you the name and the memory.

  4. should be listed under "start"  and then "control panel"

    My laptop came with a sticker on it that said the type of card it had.

  5. go to device driver go to video adapator and it will tell you what you have.

    to get to divice driver you hold down the window key and then hit the pause break key go to hard ware tab and go to device mamamger.
