Where do you head to first when you go to Disneyland?

I always head straight for Fantasyland, then make my way over to POTC and Haunted Mansion. What are some of your best moments, favorite rides, best tips?

My hotel. Here's a small thing you can do to make the vacation better: always head toward the front of the monorail and sometimes the driver lets you sit with him in the operation room. It's really cool and you can learn ffrom it too.

When my family and I enter Disneyland, we like to go on Indiana Jones as one of our first rides of the day.  Then, we will go on Autopia, and then eat at the park.

Some of my favorite rides are:

Some tips I would give if you were going to Disneyland is:

Bring a water bottle, you will get thirsty - and their water does cost a lot of money.  Check a weather website to see what the temperature will be when you are there.  Dress lightly if it is warm out, and bring a jacket just in case.  If you are going on a water ride, and do not want to be soaking wet - bring a poncho or purchase one at the park.  Always know where you are going to go, and when you will see events, go on rides, etc.

Tips:  If you are going "all out" for your Disney vacation book it thru AAA and stay at a resort hotel (Paradise Pier is a great hotel) and with thier packages you get unlimited fast passes which means you can have as many fast passes at a time as you want (only one per ride though).  and the experience is worth it.

Indiana Jones... FIRST!  if it's hot outside, maybe Grizzly River Run or Splash Mountain... but, on a normal day, Indiana Jones.  If they line isn't 1.5 hrs long, it's shut down... so if you can get on it early enough, you should be good to go.  

If you have a park hopper, i'd get a fast pass for Soarin' Over California, then walk over to DL for Indiana Jones, then ride GRR if you have time before your Fast Pass for Soarin'...

Then, once your Fast Pass for Soarin' is over... get a FP for California Screamin and ride Tower of Terror or see a show before the Fast Pass for Screamin' is up.  

Awww, now I wanna go to Disneyland!  :)
