Where do you hide money when you are swimming alone?

If you are swimming alone, who do you need to hide it from?

If at the pool- in the locker.

If at the beach- in the car

if in a pond- in my shoe

But who am I kidding.. I have no money to hide.

I don't swim alone, but if you mean like going to a public pool without anybody I know, I leave my valuables at home if I can, or lock them in a locker if I have to.  One university pool I went to had a front desk where you could check them, so I always did that.

I'd never tell anyone, as easily as many have answering this question because, thieves are thieves. Now they will add these to there where to look list and look in all these places.

The safest thing to do from being robbed while your swimming alone is not carry money, jewelery or document with your home address along with your house or car key's.

If you need to bring these items tell the pool attendant nicely you came on your own, and ask them if they can be kept safe behind the counter. Same if your given a locker key ask the pool attendant if they could look after the key.

If your swimming at a beach, it's always totally unwise to swim alone or outside a patrolled area and bring easy pickings for a thief. I have lost count how many times a distressed person has come up to me while I've been on patrol during summer telling me all of their possessions were taken while they were swimming in the surf. All I can do is call the police for them so just use your common sense and instincts on where would you hide a key etc and never tell anyone.
