LOL, I'm cracking up for even typing that question, but I really want to know!

I try to let Johnny air out (wander around without a diaper on) at least once a week, but he's gotten to the point that he pees all over everything. Yesterday, I took him out on the front porch and let him crawl all over an old blanket. He proceeded to stand up against the porch railings and pee all over the place! (I thought it was hilarious, lol) But anyways - where do you let your baby air out so they don't pee all over the furniture, carpet, etc?

  1. haha gosh I can't stop giggling

Maybe you could get one of those picnic matts that are soft but plastic so you could just hose it down?

  2. Good question :)  I try to let my daughter air out for some time each day, but it is difficult to find a good place.  My parents have a pool and a patio so after we go swimming it's a great place to let her run around without a diaper and air out because if she has an accident it is easily cleaned up.  Of course she never pees or poos out there, she waits until she gets out of the bath and I let her run around for a few minutes before getting her dressed for bed.  The other day she ran around at my parent's house for 20 min without going to the bathroom, but that night I let her run around for 3-5 min after her bath and she peed and pooped on the carpet!  Ooops!  Anyways, outside places are good like porches, back yards, anything without carpet that is easily cleaned up.  Eventually you can try bringing a potty chair and let him know what it's for.  Good luck :)

  3. they will do that as they are not trained so what u can do place his pot where ever he is and make him pee often in the pot he will get used to it though gradually try it its time taking and patience

  4. i let my son air out once a night . and yes he has pee'd on the floor . since we cant keep him from doing this and he loves to run around without his diaper (i know i would ) , we bring hid pooty chair into the kitchen and tell him that's what that is for to pee in . sometimes he get it , sometimes he dont .

  5. Every morning, although my baby is ony 5mn so it's easier to contain the pee on a towel etc and i asume because she is a girl it also makes it a bit easier to contain.

  6. take him out in the backyard..no one will see you there..dont give him a blanket this time..or give him one and wash it..just move away all your outside stuff so he cant pee on them..lol

  7. my son is the same. he always manages to wee even though i only let him air for a few minutes each day. i've started putting a light cotton vest on him that you button up at the bottom. it lets air through and when he wees the cotton soaks up most of it and there's less of a mess to clean up after him.

  8. I do not let my babies air out. I have had p**p on my couch the one time. Another time I had pee all over the crib and it was bath and laundry time. that was with my daughter. I don't do it anymore. When my son was a newborn, I just put him on a blanket (a soaker pad from the hospital) and put a liner over top of his wee wee. but once he started moving around, I didn't air him out anymore. Learned my lesson from the 3 times I let my daughter air out!

  9. Well when they can't move around much its easy.

Once they can you either let them run around outside (obviously weather permitting) or you just get to know when they are going to pee.
