  1. I can really recommend this free ebook titled "How to make a living playing poker online". I've learned so much from it, things I haven't found anywhere else.

  2. Brick and Mortar casinos. No doubt. Not only do I not trust online casinos, but you can't get a read on your opponants and it is very tough to pick up tells.

I have been playing for years and online I am about even when I did play online. But at a live poker game over the past 6 years I am up almost $30K. There is a BIG difference for me between the 2.

But, give me a live game at a real table with real cards anyday.

  3. Online and usually at the biggest site with the most players, Pokerstars.com. If B+M I would go with the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City or Mirage in Vegas. Some of the bigger casinos are opening some lavish rooms like the Bellagio and Wynn but I prefer the classics. I like online because you dont have to worry about giving away your tells. Just play the cards and the other bettors action.

  4. i play both but prefer b and m to online.  You can see people's tells at a live game.

  5. bodog poker is the best overall. the second best is oddsmaker.

  6. I like to play at MGM Grand in live games or at http://www.redjackpoker.com They give you 100% for free, and have lots of fish! They have daily freerolls, and great games! They have to be one of the best out there.

  7. where ever i win

  8. i prefer online. i only played once b&m, and the fees were outrageous. before the first card was even dealt, i had to pay $60 for an advertised $40 tourney. and then, with the add-ons, the total fee was $80. most of the other guys there paid for the full amount of add-ons, so they spent $120. imho, the reason i'm entering a $40 tourney is BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO SPEND $80.

Usually, for online tourneys, what you see is exactly what you get.
