  1. New Jersey. It's wonderful... I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. The only con is high taxes.

  2. I live in Arkansas, home of the Razorback football team.  It's a beautiful state with lots of trees and flowers. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The humidity is torture on some of those July and August days that the heat index reaches 110 to 115 degrees.  There all types of fun activities to do here.   We have several lakes, for swimming and boating.  We have rivers and streams and lakes also for fishing.  Hunting is very popular here especially for deer, ducks, and even bear in the northern part of the state.  We have rolling hills and mountains plus tree shaded flat level lots.  There's also lots of history here, as you probally know ,Ex-President Bill Clinton is from Arkansas and so is Billy Bob Thorton, and several well known  people. It's actually a pretty good place to live.

  3. South Florida

Pros- Best weather Oct to May, THE only good thing.

Cons-Absolutely the worst people in the world.

    No jobs

    No one speaky English,LOL

  4. Pyongteck  Korea  We do not  have to pay  rent or bills life is pretty cheap here  The people and culture are great  I miss my family  great hair salons   American  food and Jamaican food restraunts

  5. yorkshire in england. where i live no-one ever wants to *** out so its c**p really. but theres a shop like 5 houses away from me.

  6. I live in Western Australia, have just returned from England where I lived for 43 years and thought I didn't wish to be anywhere else on earth, now I am more convinced that  Western Australia is the one I don't wish to leave.  Don't want you to think I've been nowhere else, I've been to Malaysia, America, The European continent, Canada, Hon Kong, China.

      This suits me best.

  7. Phoenix...Pro-I can leave an egg outside and fry it on the sidewalk.

Con-I can't eat the egg cuz it will get too much dust in it

  8. england: Pro: cool people!

    Con: too busy life!!

  9. Ireland

Pros - Always someone to go to the pub with

Cons - Always someone to go to the pub with

  10. I live in Brisbane, Australia. It's the third largest city in the country with a population of just under 2 mill in the greater area.

Pros: It's in a democratic, relatively tolerant, peaceful, developed country. The weather in winter is spectacular. The people are for the most part a good bunch. It's becoming a melting pot for many cultures. It's vibrant and growing. It's home.

Cons: The weather in summer is foul (very subjective, I'm in the minority of people who think this). It's stinking hot and humid, so you feel like you're wallowing in your sticky soupy filth all day. My industry is the theatre, which is almost virtually ignored by the greater population. For example, I am in one of the most lauded plays in town right now and we had two nights this week with under 20 in the house. Brisbane drivers do not allow traffic to merge...I think they think they'll get home faster or something. Brisbane never looks quite finished.

  11. I live near Miami in the States. Its beautiful, warm, and has a very diverse population. You can find people from all over the world here, its great. Other pros are the beaches, night life, lots of local music, cultural events and its a very physically active place.

Cons are that it is a materialistic culture, lots of plastic surgery types, lack of real seasons, snowbirds (the older population that comes down only for winter season), expensive (at least for the states) and money is the name of the game here.

Interesting question, I can't wait to hear what other people have to say.

  12. small town in southern border of Kentucky.  Very low cost of living and beautiful area but boring at times.  Close to Nashville where there is plenty to do but must be careful when drinking because you have to drive to get home.  Requires careful use of a dd.

  13. This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,

This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,

    This other Eden, demi-paradise,

This fortress built by Nature for herself

Against infection and the hand of war,

This happy breed of men, this little world,

This precious stone set in the silver sea-

Cons. That was then and this is now.

  14. Rural Ireland. It's a lovely place, despite the schizophrenic weather and the flood alerts.

  15. London

    Pros:

WICKED SOCIAL SCENE (there's something to please everyone and US BRITS KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME), great restaurants (any type of World cuisine), cool clothes shops, well connected to the rest of the World (5 airports surrounding London), the cosmopolitan / international feel of the city (pretty much every nationality and creed all living together in mish-mashed harmony - think Brixton for example), job opportunities

    Cons:

the tube is probably the worst network in the World (and the most expensive), the weather (let's face it, it is c**p), the cost of living (my take-away salad I had for lunch was £4.25 - what a rip-off), drunk men behaving like neanderthals (and women, - I guess I have had my moments too I must admit.....), knife-wielding teenagers (way, WAY to many deaths by stabbing lately)

Thanks, had fun thinking about this question!

  16. I live and work in Germany.

The pros are that I work tax free, have a free house with the bills paid and have a company car.

The streets are clean and trouble free, the buses and trains all work and are on time. The beer is nice.

The cons are the language barrier but I am learning and that some uk foodstuffs are unavailable here and clothes shopping can be an issue at times.

UK newspapers are expensive, but I read online mostly nowadays.

The pros outweigh the cons definitely.
