Where do you pee when you climb Katahdin

Mount Katahdin in Maine? End of the AT? Just off the trail. I've climbed it before, but don't remember if there are facilities at the trailhead. Try to relieve yourself BELOW the alpine zone. If you break trail at high altitude it can permanently damage vegetation (which can take many decades to recover). If you are paranoid about it, have another party member stay on the trail and make sure nobody goes near you.

I'm sure there are no restrooms, so anywhere your modesty allows - along as you are off the trail / route and more than 500 feet from a water source.
