And how is your body positioned. Just taking in survey since I'm interested in knowing.

  1. my right hand is either on the top or bottom of the steering wheel. my left arm is laying on an armrest thats on the driver door. My body is usually leaned back to the left side of the seat.

  2. I moved them in many different positions as I drive over a 100 thousand miles a year for work, mostly I hand my right wrist over the top of the wheel and keep my left close or resting on the lower half

  3. On the steering wheel, where else. Haven't you seen the Indy 500 or Formula One, there's no monkey bars above my head in my car and I'm not going to m********e while I drive so on the steering wheel where you get the most feed back from your car. Unless your car is dull and heavy with low or no feedback from the road.

  4. Left hand over the top of the steering wheel most of the time. Both hands on the wheel in bad weather or when sudden maneuvers are required. And sitting however is most comfortable, occasionally moving around in the seat to get comfortable.

  5. does the car have airbags? if yes , 9 and 3, because if it is deployed, at 2 and 10, your hands will hit you in the face, 9 and 3 your hands/arm will goto the side of your body

  6. In my pockets. I have the cruise control on and the seat reclined all the way back. It's not for comfort though; looking at the moving pavement makes me disoriented.

  7. I'm just sitting comfortably with my hands on the wheel or the shifter. Usually when I'm at a red light, I just kinda put my hands down though.
