So I'm getting a new macbook pro next year for the schoolyear, and since I'm so excited I always look at it online, but today I was looking at picture on the apple website, and I realized, I didn't see a disc inserter thingy (I'm sorry I'm spacing on what it's called). Am I crazy, because there MUST be one, it's not like the Macbook Air. So anyway, the basic question is, is there a place to put my discs in on the macbook pro?

  1. Yes, the Macbook Pro has a DVD/CD optical drive, or as Apple calls it, the "superdrive".

It's on the right side I believe.

  2. Yes, of course there is!

The "disc inserter thingy" is located in front of the macbook pro, for the most recent models.
