Where do you rank this red wing team compared to other champions of nhl?

Nowhere yet, they still have 2 more wins to get before they can be considered a Champion.

Dont count your chickens yet... an injury or two and this thing could change drastically.

Well they won the presidents trophy.......so I guess at that point they were best overall........We shall see at the end of this competition how they rank.

Keith, you should really try to be more objective.

not sure yet,,,, its not over yet,,,,but the teams were alot better when there was only 6 teams...take all the teams today and put them on 6 teams

Not very highly.

They would not last a second against the old Devils.

Although I noticed they are trying to pull a page out of the Devil's trapping game.

Yeah, and you guys call the Devils BORING.

You guys sat there all playoffs blaming the Pens for Crosby's dives. YET I've seen so many dives by the Red Wings the fans are now scoring them. I haven't seen this many dives in the diving competition at the Olympics. Maybe they ought to let the Red Wings compete in the Olympics.. with their dives they might get high scores.

It's pathetic. The series is not over yet. It's 2-0.. they have to go to Pittsburgh. Of course now the Refs will probably go even further in helping the Red Wings.

They are a very good team, and if they win it, would be in the top 1/3, based on overall stats and performance.  Their stutters against Nashville and against Dallas keep them from being much higher.  They wer/are the best in the league this year - and know what?  That's good enough for me, and for them.

I will disagree, though, with the person who said they wouldn't beat the old Devils teams.

Keith -- Where did the refs "help" the Wings?  In disallowing their first goal? In giving only minor penalties to Roberts and Sykora for intent to injure.  Just want to know where that help is coming from, because I sure don't see it.

You can't rank 'em yet because as of now, there just Western Conference Champions...

But I think the '02 Wings were one great team... Hull, Robitaille, Hasek, Lidstrom, Yzerman, Shanahan... some in there prime.... how can you not love that lineup? oh and fedorov too

Even if they sweep the pens hard off the ice they still wouldnt be in the top 10 of championship teams probably not even in the top 20 think of some of the unbelievable teams
