  1. what is this with recycling everything there are plenty of places you could donate them to like woman's shelters, youth centres, sell them to a second hand music store, give them to good will or such places to sell.Remember there are 3 R's REUSE is one of them.

  2. Either sell them, as suggested before, or donate them!  I always donate all of my household items that I want to get rid of if it is in decent condition.  Find a good cause, whether it's goodwill, salvation army, or some other second-hand thrift store and donate your cds there.  You can also get rid of other stuff you don't use anymore.  Also, you can just throw it in a box and dump it off and not hassle with trying to get money out of it or if it's good enough to sell.  Thrift stores don't care of there are scratches on the cds, if they still work.  Reusing is always better than Recycling.

  3. They would go into the plastic recycling bin, but I agree that you should try to sell them first, then try to give them away.  If that doesn't work u could make some cool stuff out of them...

I went to a bar that had a whole ceiling decorated with the shiny side of the cd...they used tiny nuts and bolts to suspend them from the ceiling which really looked cool.

    good luck

  4. Don't recycle, reuse, give the CDs to a local school program or a homeless children's shelter or something of that nature or you can give them to a friend or relative or put up on craigslist.

  5. Actually, you can go to any Transworld Music Location (such as Coconuts) and sell them your used cds.  You may not make much back, but at least that way you can share the music with other people when you are done with it.
