Where do you see Paul Menard in 2009?

Do you think his daddy is going to keep giving his money to DEI, or is he going to take it to Yates? Which would YOU do in that situation?

If I was his "daddy" I would just pay HMS or JGR to hire him. It would be cheaper I think.

DEI may have investors in the future. That may be his only option.

I would if I were John (his daddy) talk to Yates, but if he was smarter than the wicked witch of TEI; I would just start my own team.  His cousin Charlie also races, but in the ARCA/Remax series.  Paul and Charlie would make great teammates and maybe even if their equipment sucked, they still would be better than someone else who remains to be unmentioned by me (JR).

He will stay at DEI, they dont have any other option but to keep him, who else could they get to drive for them that is any better, there are no good drivers left in silly season.

I'd go to Yates. He isn't doing anything great on DEI.

If I was his daddy I'd be negotiating with Yates. He  hasn't been doing anything with DEI.

Neither team has been top 20 material in a year or more (except the 28 early on this season). However, the 15 team sucks. At that, it's up to Paul and I'll support him whatever his decision may be.

I'ld take dads money and stay with DEI. Menard and the family business is very cool. I'm hoping Menard, Truex,  &  Almirola, will help DEI jump up a few notches in the forces of NASCAR

he would be best off if he could go to stewart haas, he already has a sponsor, and he would have the benefit of the hms alliance.

I am sure with a majority of the teams desperately needing sponsorship for 09....Menard's stock just went up. I have heard everything from Robby Gordon Motorsports, to Yates, to Petty, to MWR....I'm sure all/any of those teams would love to spend "daddy's money"

I see him taking Ryan Newman's place at Penske. Ryan is going to Haas so Paul Menard should if he were smart, make improvements to get noticed and get the Penske ride.
