Where do you see jamie mcmurray ending up next year?

hes a proven driver with 2 wins he should be able to get another ride if some one like JJ Yeley could shouldnt he? is their any chance he wont be the one leaving roush?

I expected him to do great where hes at. Id give him a couple more seasons in that car before he gets the boot, unless he can turn it around.

Roush-Fenway has till 2010 to get down to 4 teams, he'll probably be at Roush-Fenway till then...But he'd better get hot and win some races, or David Ragan is waiting to push Jamie out the door..

Yeah, he is secure for at least 1 more year. At the begining of the year I assumed it would be him or Biffle who gets axed. I'm not so sure now.  Ragan is running well and is just in his 2nd year. Kenseth started slow, but has really came on the last few weeks. Carls sponsor is changing for next year, so I don;t see him leaving after only 1 year with a new sponsor.  Unless Jamie has a meltdown this season or next, I'll expect him to stay and expect either Biffle or Kenseth to move on as they are the oldest of the group.

Roush can still have 5 teams next year.  2010 is the first season they have to go to 4. So, he could be at Roush for at least another year.

I read an article somewhere (not NASCAR.com), that said that he's already got a new contract. But then again, he was having trouble with someone reporting false stuff about him before, so who knows.

He said on NASCAR Raceday that he wasn't leaving Roush Fenway Racing! So I think he is going to be at Roush Racing next year!

i think what you could see...and this would be interesting....if Jamie cant get a win this year or get more strong finishes...maybe we could see him headed to RCR in that 4th seat? (I figure Roush will get rid of that 5th team before 2009 so that he wont have a tough decision to make regarding the rules for 2010)

He said on the prerace show this past weekend that he was going to be with Roush next year. It was on Speed.
