Newspaper columnists, as usual, are saying on one hand this and on the other hand that, Soros is predicting Armageddon and Warren Buffet buffet is saying nothing.

  1. Twelve months from now, the market will be bullish, if for no other reason than the fact that the elction will be over.  The market dislikes nothing more than uncertainty, and there will (hopefully!) be no uncertainty by then.  Regardless of who wins, investors will have some idea of what the future holds, and so will invest appropriately...

Mr.Buffett may not be saying anything, but he isn't selling any more of his (over 2,000,000) shares in BRK-A than his usual trickle for spending cash, either, so that should tell you he thinks they will be worth more in the future...

  2. Well I foresee a bulls market 6 months from now onwards. You take my word for it.

  3. 12 months from now will be the beginning of a new bull market (considering we are currently at the start of a recession)

Reasons: new political climate with a new president, new economic priorities, improved confidence, regressing inflation (tone down in oil price),...

  4. I never considered myself a contrarian.

Historically, whenever a new administration is elected, it has to do a lot of housecleaning first. Expect tighter fiscal and monetary policy. This is not good for the stock market.

Next 12 months, the market may not tank as it did the previous months--or it will. But I do not see bulls coming in any time soon. Fundamentally, the present admin seems to do what it can to improve the economy, but we won't feel its effects anytime soon.

Warren Buffet is quiet--good for him. He's busy with a lot of other things. Do not bet your hard earned money on what other investment gurus are doing, or not doing. By the time you hear about what it is they are doing, it is too late for you. Learn to make your own decisions when it comes to investing.

Are we headed into Armageddon? Soros could be right, or he could be wrong. Either way, someone is going to lose a lot of money, and someone on the other end is going to get all that money. Find out how you can be the latter and not the former.

    Hope this helps.
