  1. most locks are good in defence so position yourself not far from the play the ball areathen as the ball moves across the field follow it and push the man next to you out till you get to the forwards. in attack locks these days stand wide close to the centres.

  2. ermm, lock you actually can stand pretty much anywhere except fullback, and out on the wings, but usually you should be moving around places not just staying in the same spot.

  3. in league the lock does alot of cover defence. you need to see where there is gaps in your teams defensive line and move into it. The lock makes alot of tackles, with it and hooker probably the 2 key defensive players

  4. stand where ever you like its a free world

  5. The lock in league has a few places they can stand in defence.

Inside or outside the second rower or inside the front rower

In offence (known as attack in league) the lock would generally be on th inside of the centre

Can't help you with the union though

  6. In league just stay any where in da middle, just dont slide out 2 far
