I've heard lots of talk in the news lately about how they are too dangerous to be used. It seems to me that if people would comply with the instructions of the police and not behave in a threatening manner towards officers that they wouldn't get "tazed" in the first place.

  1. Respect the criminal justice so you would not get tazed.

  2. I think its a great method for "Police Assisted Suicide"

  3. They are better than taking a bullet.

  4. In some situations tazers are a great solution to violent situations. it is the misuse that couase the problem.

There was a news story of a man in handcuffs in a police car who was tazered a total of nine times in about an hour. He died.

A Polish immigrant in Canada arrived at the airport and was confused about where he was. he was stuck there alone for ten hours. When five policement came in they just tazered him to death instead of talking to him or helping him.

So it all depends on how the thing is used.

  5. Nobody is ever Happy. Cops can't shot the bad guy. So tasers are invented, Now the bad guys are complaining that it may HURT. I can't believe that there are any cops working in this mixed up WORLD.

  6. They would be great if used instead of a gun.

However cops are using them to make their jobs easy, instead of having a dialog with a person,  which might take a little more time... they jump to use the tazer and bully them.

  7. For me I think it depends on the situation. The recent story I heard about an elderly woman gettting tazed did make me mad. I think that a lot of police officers use them in an unfair way. However if they actually were in danger I see no reason to not defend yourself.

  8. I choose to stand behind the person who's using the Taser.
