Where do you store your onions?

I have mine in the bottom of the closet where I keep canned goods but the skins always come off a bit and get all over the place.

Is it wrong to refrigerate them?

That's normal just get a little rubbermade bucket and put them in there so that the skins stay a little more contained.

I go thru onions fast but mine sit in a basket on my counter.  A tip though..... 20 minutes before you are planning to cut an onion throw it in the freezer it freezes the juices that make you eyes water.  You will cut back on the crying thing that comes from making dinner (the pouting you are on your own :)

Cool dark place. But NOT in the fridge! Put them in a mesh bag if the skins are making a mess.
