Where do you think....?

Question

the 2012 world juniors will be held? Calgary/Edmonton or Toronto?

BONUS: if you could decide where it could be held, where would you choose?

No clue where they will be held, but I bet a lot of kids from a lot of countries would be awed to play at a rink as famous as that in lake placid. It's even better though, there are two rinks there- the 1980 one and the 1932 one, they wouldn't have to split it up between two cities or anything.

Or do they only do that during the normal worlds?

Even better, if it works out that I'm at school, I could make the trip and see a few games.

Not sure where they will be held, but I would put them in Montreal or Winnipeg.

Is that what they're saying now? I think they'll award it to a European city. Saskatoon and Regina just won the 2010 tournament. Or maybe Minnesota. They deserve some kind of international recognition.

If you're asking what I think the IIHF will do...I think they'll go to Toronto given that they could use the ACC and Ricoh Coliseum (which are literally minutes apart); they could use the Hershey Centre if they needed a third rink which is very close to Pearson airport.  The logistics would make this seem a no-brainer, not to mention the HHOF issue.  

I think they "should" choose Alberta as the host.

Since you've indicated Canada is getting it...I'd like to see it go to Winnipeg.
