They are already being placed in London, but I would have liked Rome.

Sadly San Francisco, California was the potential winner to host in 2012, but pulled out because the SF Board of Supervisors did not want to build venues or advertise tourism to the United States.  They'd rather cater to illegal immigrant criminals, try to eliminate all forms of military presence in SF and support same-s*x marriages.....

In any case, I'm glad that London won the bid because I'd rather have it in a major civilized country such as Great Britain and not a 3rd world communist country like China.

It has already been selected to be in London. But i would like to see it in Rome. Lol in like a coliseum and they wear the togas Hehe

It's been chosen as London. I can't wait because I can actually go to the 2012 Olympics, because I will have graduated HS by then, and I couldn't be happier that they chose London!
