  1. Check www.ancestry.com and look under Did you Know, then family facts, then place of origin.  I did and found Russia, France and Bohemia with numbers of people from there.  I also saw on the screen for census people were from Hungary, Italy and Romania.

    To find specifically where your line came from, do a Ydna test with familytreedna and you will find what haplogroup you belong to.
