i recently started back with my ex, we hadent talked in over a year. one day a couple weeks ago she called and asked if we could talk. subsequently she wanted to get back together. Now we are in this relationship, it feels like a new relationship, yet we were together for over a year before we broke up.

so what i am asking is what stage of a relationship do you think we are in. you know like what is acceptable, do i have to be like the whole new boyfriend or is it just like how we were. girls what do you think?

that's a stupid question. you should only be you. that's it. the whole new boyfriend idea is stupid. don't spoil or treat a woman great in the beginning of a relation and then stop. that'll make the girl not like you anymore. if you be yourself, be kind to her, and treat her with respect then she should do the same back. if not, dump her.

ex's getting back together isn't bad, just think about why you broke up in the first place and how things could go well with you this time.

you're relationship shouldn't be new to you or her. get to know each other more than you did the first time and have fun. grow together, new doesn't mean it's great.
