  1. aukland....i hate busy city..

  2. Auckland for sure - Less crime, a lot safer for kids.

  3. It depends what you want, if you want innocence & safety, Auckland, if you want excitement, NY.    You might be bored in Auckland, you really need to come over & check it out if you haven't already done so. I would also imagine you would be able to afford a much better property in Auckland than NY & with the amount of $$ you'd earn in converting US$ to NZ$ ones you are likely to be better off (but would pay to wait for things to improve re this as US$ doing so badly over the past year or so).

  4. neither. I think australia is a much better country to start a family in. New zealand has nothing going for it and its never going to change.

  5. tirunelveli, ( tamilnadu, india)

  6. NZ over NY for sure. But look at other parts of NZ not just Auckland as there is so much more out there

  7. Definitly Auckland. How is nz not a good place to bring up a kid? I moved from australia to nelson, nz and I think it is a much better option than Sydney.

What do you see in Sydney mate? Crime, traffic, rudeness, pushy people , full of **** heads who think they live in the best country in the world

  8. as for the idiot saying australia instead of NZ, ahem, i really think you need to visit NZ and decide then, if you want a crime ridden overly busy city, then NYC i guess, if you want a society with alot more respect and tranquility, nice people, that arent rude and out for themselves, then defintiely NZ is the place, as for Australia, you cud just call that a mini NYC, no one cares and everyone is rude and dont give a c**p about anyone else but themselves

  9. Definitely Auckland !

I only spent 1 month in New York and it's a great city to visit, but to live there and bring up the kids ?  I don't think so.

We moved to Auckland in 2005 and while it took some time to adjust after living in Europe, it's absolutely the best decision we ever made. In case you're wondering, yes we do have kids, our son is 4 and our daughter is nearly 2.

If you want some more info you could look at our info web site which we are writing about Auckland. No ads !   www.aucklandlifestyle.com/   It's still quite new but there is some good info there already which you may find useful.

Let me know what you think.

    Best regards.
