Where do you want your lack of experience... in President or Vice President?

The exception is that Palin has experience governing one of our largest states, two time small business owner and has the same television background that made Keith Olbermann so popular amongst Obama supporters.

Something tells me that she blows away the Junior Senator's experience already. We need to hear one more speech by Obama to convince us he can do what he claims he will do, don't you think?

  1. Not to mention that Alaska has a c**p load of natural resources and Palin was in charge of all of that too.  I would rather have an experienced president.

  2. Ill take experience in the presidency and lack of experience in the VP, anyday.

  3. Well, let's parse that a little.  Vice president is "one heartbeat away" from the presidency and, let's face it, your candidate doesn't have many heartbeats left.

You are right, though, in saying she governs one of our largest states- in area.  In population, Alaska is 47th.http://www.factmonster.com/ipka/A0004986...

Where exactly does she "blow away" Obama?  Because she was running for Miss Alaska while he was getting health care for families in Chicago?  Because while he was in the state senate of Illinois while she was mayor of a town with 5,469 people?  Or is it because she already has the experience in political corruption that is so valuable for Republican office holders?

  4. Personally I would prefer that the inexperience be in the Vice President.  We may never need the VP to make the choices, but the P always has to.

  5. Our President needs more experience than the VP but the VP needs to be a quick study in case something happens to the President.  I have been so disheartened by the way the Democratic party treated Hillary but McCain's choice of Palin brings new excitement to this race.

I really like that both McCain and Palin are known as "mavericks" in the Republican party and are willing to fight their own party in order to do what is right.  Palin has been fighting government corruption for years and I believe she will bring a true change to Washington and this is change we CAN trust.  She does not just offer empty promises, she has demonstrated the fact that she can and will bring real change to politics.  It seems the Democrats have forgotten how many times McCain has crossed party lines to do what is right and he will not be anyone's puppet.  I don't think we can say the same thing for Obama.

    McCain '08!!!!

  6. Given the choice between Obama and more of what we've had for the last 8 years, I'll take an inexperience president.  Maybe the lack of expirience will turn out to be a good thing... he won't be stuck in the old ways right off the bat.
