Applebees 50% off your meal only if your working. Sometimes they discount you if you come in to eat but sometimes the won't do it. It's more a privilage then anything. They can say no if they want. Most of the time the servers only get half off of 1 meal. Back of house employees get up to a certain amount free.

My situation is different.  I work in the telecommunications industry as an Independent Representative.  You ask for us to tell you about our jobs?  Okay, well I basically save people money on services that they are already using and paying for each month, and offer people new services that they don't already have.  After I've helped someone on an existing service, or put them on a new service, the companies gives me a percentage of their billings every single month.  I pretty much have all my telecommunciations such as my land line, Internet, Satellite TV and my cellular phones paid for.  So it's not a discount I guess, but my telecommunicatons bills are taken care of.  It's difficult to explain, but I guess it would be more of a benefit then a discount?  But anyhow, that's what I do.
