  1. classic car auto trader

  2. Bumblebee is a very easy-to-find car.  It's a 76 Camaro.  All 70's Camaros look similar, and they made a million of them.

If you just look in Craigslist you should find lots of project cars, including late 70's Camaros.

The junkyard WILL NOT sell you a project car.  They're in business to make money.  I part out cars, and I get requests like that all the time, from people who think I'll sell them a car for $500 when I could part it out for $2000.  They won't do it.

  3. Junk yards DO sometimes sell project vehicles despite what another says. Availability depends a lot on where you are located. Cheap does not go in the same sentence as classic car. Some are less expensive because they are not as sought after. A Charger as used in the Dukes of Hazzard can run thousands just for a body shell. Look in the Hemmings Motor News or the on-line auto trader. Good luck.

  4. There are a multitude of web sites that specialize in classic cars.  Here's one to get you started:  http://www.classicsandcustoms.com/
