Creationist theory: The world was created 10,000 years ago.

So where did all the oil come from ?

And what about all those 50,000 year old skulls and bones in the museums?

Or the 1 million year old fossils?

  1. God put it into Alaska so she could tax it, write checks to the people, thereby achieving an 80% approval rating and gain the attention of McCain, who needed desperately to shake things up, and is willing to gamble.

  2. Ok.  Those supposed 1 million year old fossils and "all those" 50,000 year old skulls are dated using a very flawed "science".  Carbon dating has long been a source of dispute between scientists.  No one can accurately prove that it is flawless.  What about the Incan burial stones with intricate paintings of people riding on dinosaurs?  What do you think the carbon dating would be on those rocks?  Have you ever heard of them?  As to where did the oil come from: if God created the world with everything mature and ready, why wouldn't he create oil?Theology and Creationism are things you can study in college because no matter how many people criticize them, there is always proof for it and never evidence against it.  The theory of Evolution is still a theory.  I have researched it and I can't understand how people can believe it.  You should research both sides before you make assumptions.  Read some books by Apologia Press.

  3. Not the stork.  The stork is too busy bringing the Palin women their babies.

  4. God put the oil there.

But, hang on, if God put the oil there, wouldn't he have done the sensible thing and put it in a fine Christian country like the USA?

Instead, he chooses to put the oil in the middle east? Where they aren't Christian, but Muslim? Suggesting that God, is in fact .......er ........er .....

No, we don't like the way this one is going.

Let's think up another foolish explanation which denies all the evidence.

  5. Dunno. But she reckons it is the will of god to make an oil pipeline across Alaska!

  6. Im not a creationist. However, all evidence of an older earth is not irrefutable. Beware, it just happens to work nicely.

  7. Perhaps it's the oil is the devil's tears and the bones and fossils are made of plastic and were buried by jesus as a test? lol  :)

  8. Only she knows that answer.

You should be informed though, not all who believe in creationism interpret the Bible literally. Some believe one day in the Bible could represent thousands or even millions of years. They only share the same basic belief that God created man.

The truth is, no one knows for sure. There's scientific evidence to "prove" evolution and there's faith with some "proof" of creation, both of which are/can be flawed. I believe you shouldn't knock her for her beliefs. Wasn't this country founded on the principle to practice whatever religion we choose? But, I do believe she, or any elected government leader, shouldn't force their beliefs on anyone in the form of laws or regulations.

  9. What Palin’s beliefs are is still debatable at this point, so no need to comment on that. However, where do YOU believe oil came from? Evolutionists in this forum are so fond of impugning the intelligence of creationists but then they go ahead and ask questions like this. Science has shown that it does not take millions of years to form oil. For goodness sake, they are already building plants to create oil artificially from garbage and other plant material. All of the oil in the world could easily have formed from the massive amounts of plant material buried during the catastrophic flood just 4500 years ago. All of the conditions were right including the volcanic upheavals of the earth’s crust and the large amounts of heat and pressure produced. There are also theories that at least some natural gas had an inorganic origin as well and did not need plant material.

In regards to million year old fossils, whatever gave you the idea that they are millions of years old? Did they come with an age label? You’re simply drinking the evolutionist cool aid and not thinking for yourself. There is absolutely no way to know what happened in the past unless you have an eyewitness account. Mmmm, creationists just happen to have one of those in Genesis! If you think that the massively flawed and inconsistent radiometric dating methods are your savior instead, think again.

Materials we KNOW are hundreds or thousands of years old are consistently and incorrectly dated by independent labs at millions of years old. If we can’t even date materials of known age, how in the world do you expect to accurately date materials of unknown age? These methods rely on dozens of assumptions including the amounts of parent/daughter materials initially present, a consistent decay rate and no materials entering or leaving the system. If you use different and more valid assumptions, scientists have shown that these methods date the earth at around 6000 years old instead. In addition, most if not all of the other hundreds of dating methods also date the earth as young. This is totally consistent with God’s eye-witness account which he has given us so that we would actually know the truth.
