Where does Dubai get all its money from?

They are building incredible buildings and artificial islands... are they an oil rich country? They seem so small!

First of all, Dubai is not a country... It's a state in the United Arab Emirates(UAE)... UAE is the country... Most of the Arab countries are very rich in oil... They dig it far below the sand and soil... They can also get oil from the deep sea... That is the reason why they have such big platforms in the middle of the sea... They use it to suck oil...

Basically, oil is their wealth... But since oil is starting to run out around the world, They also started to do some trading with other countries... Not only trading of oil but also of different products like food, etc...

Oil, but they are running out of oil money in 5-7 years so they are putting together a crazy fantasy land rapidly. Dubai has 1/3 of the cranes in the world and if you went there five years ago it was empty. They are trying to build the worlds biggest, best, newest, and most exciting city to have an alternative income instead of oil.
