I know he says THAT you must be born again to see or enter the Kingdom of God but where does he say HOW it happens?

Please, I do not want your "ideas". I want scripture.

  1. John3:3 Nicodemus and he was actually talking about reincarnation. But the Bible is all BS anyway.

    Have a nice day!

    Deist. I don't need no stinking bibles!~

    Edit:

    Here you go.

3-Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

I think this the KJV version.

  2. In the Tablets of Ming:

Jesus wrote "You take a cell, artificially replace the DNA in a female's ovum, extracted under laboratory procedures, with your own DNA extracted from an active cell, apply a little electrical shock and with luck, you have just cloned yourself! Congratulations, that's the closest thing to being born again possible!"

  3. You don't become born again by your efforts. There is no 'how' you go about it. That's God's decision not yours.

  4. He explains it somewhat to Nicodemus.

This is also the section that holds John 3:16 which is regularly taken out of context. People try to imply that this is about the Crucifixion but in fact this whole dissertation is about the Holy Spirit and the Light of God.

So born again comes from increasing the light of God... and of course he taught those who came to him how to increase that light.

This will explain the whole thing from A to Z. http://gospelenigma.com This resource sticks with the Original Gospel all the way through, and that Kingdom gospel was not about a blood sacrifice. it was about increasing the light to become "Children of the Light."

It will explain how to become born again and it is just loaded with scriptures from Jesus Christ himself.

  5. Believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ (John 3:16, John 6:29, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:9-10, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4).  Only FAITH ALONE in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is what saves.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is this: The truth is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal h**l is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you are saved!

Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die. :)

  6. LOL, Chris is the best, great answer, LOL!!!!

  7. there is no instruction

  8. There must be a recognition on our part that we can do nothing. Jesus is our example in this. He said, " I can of mine own self do nothing... because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me...The Son can do nothing of himself." John 5:30,19. The way in which Christ lived in submission to his Father's will show how the believers is to live in submission to Christ. Read Philippians 2:5-8.Living in Christ is the end of self-will and we live according to his will.

John 3:5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

  9. That part of "scripture" was voted out a long time ago. The bible as it is today has some truths, but too many half-truths and missing information to be relied upon alone. To be born again, as Jesus meant it, is to die to your old way of thinking and adopt an enlightened one, his way of thinking. You do not resist those who would do evil to you, show love and kindness to everyone, enjoy the simple things in life like a child would, and seek truth. It's a life-style and personality change you choose for the greater good when you realize the truth.......that we all are one. Then, we will grow spiritually and progress towards what we're meant to become. Namaste

  10. John 3

  11. I don't believe that Jesus ever described the process.

That didn't start happening until after his death... as described in the book of Acts.

The Apostle Peter was the first to describe this process in Acts 2:38.

Jesus taught a way of life.  His disciples taught salvation.  When Jesus didn't do what the "Messiah" was supposed to do, they had to come up with the "real" reason for Jesus...  When the Jews called "BS" they took the message to the gentiles...  who already had several "savior" cults that sounded similar enough that this took off like wildfire in those other lands.

    *edit*

Agreed, the Acts verse describes "salvation," however being born again...  is the method of salvation, according to the scripture.

    Example:

    John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

    1 John 5:6

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

Although Jesus did not specifically describe the process...  other than by water and spirit...  and that is pretty vague.  It was the disciples/apostles that further explained it.  The Acts 2 verse describes the "spirit" part of what Jesus was telling them.

  12. Jesus answers the question in the same passage where He brings up the issue of being born again.

    John 3:1-21

1 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."

3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"

5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, "How can these things be?"

10 Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man [fn1] who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should [fn2] not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

HOW = believing in Him.  Faith.

  13. John3:5-you already know. John3:15 - It's what happens when you become a believer, you are born again.
