I find it amazing that so many people will say, "well when Jesus died he, what did he do? He came and gave us his commands and his commands has been changed, twisted, copied and paste all over the place. since everyone has this thing of using the word strive and try. l want someone to show me in scripture where Jesus (not Paul) says to strive or to try? Paul is not the way to heaven and rather Jesus picked Mary, Sue, Charlie Brown or Snoopy, his word is the final. So please show me in scripture where Jesus says to strive or to try. People want to go to other part of the scripture to make their case and no one is answering the question. another question, Jesus said many, not few but Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. who are the many that Jesus speaks of? since we all are sinners, who is Jesus speaking of? we know it can't be the atheist nor the non-believers so who is he talking about when he says many?

  1. 1 Peter 1:16  Be holy as I am holy.

  2. Matthew 5:48

    Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    Matthew 19:21

    Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

  3. Luke 13:22-35

  4. There is no such proof, the bible has been changed according to what 'believers' want to hear or to believe.

  5. Be ye perfect(merciful):

    Gen 17:1... Mt 5:48... Lk 6:36... 1Cor 13:10... Heb 6:1...Jam 3:17

    Strive: Luke 13:24

    Pst: all is neither many nor few. h**l-o;

    So don't even go there, to Son of man part-iality,

    nor have the faith of our Lord JC with respect of persons;

    For God & Son are notably impartial (no respect of persons),

    and even the Herodians knew that much about God and Son.

    Pst: it's Law that says I will forget you and forsake you: Jer 23:39;

    Grace says I will never leave you nor ever forsake you: Heb 13:5.

    Since de-fault goes to law, both ends feeling forsaken: Mt 27:46.

    So it's a good(God) thing for the heart to established "with" grace,

    since it's either with or against: Mt 12:30,

    and against notably requires mediation,

    also a punishing schoolmaster: Gal 3,

    perhaps even a tormentor: Mt 18:35,

    and suffering (2Tim3:12; 1Pet 5:10),

    till it becomes "with" grace, not against,

    gathering(reconciling), not scattering(alienating),

    justified (by grace), not condemned (by law).

    The GRACE of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.

  6. 2Tim. 3:16 - 17

    ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God be adequate, equipped for every good work.

    inspired by God="breathed out by God"

  7. Read the end of Matthew 5, where Jesus teaches to be perfect, like His Father is.

  8. We were never told to be perfect, God knows that with sins in our heart we can never be perfect....... But God told us to try and become like jesus. we just need to try.  When you let God be the strength in you, there is no telling what you can acheive

  9. Mat 5:48   But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.
