raising coroporate taxes just means prices go up...like the minimum wage...

A single-payer system would eliminate private insurance companies and put a Medicare-like system into place where the government pays all health-care bills with tax dollars.

raising corporate taxes will result only in higher costs for working people. it always filters down, you know. the CEOs aren't going to take the hit.

He would have to raise taxes. America spends over $2 trillion a year on healthcare. After 10 years with his healthcare plan, America would have over $20 trillion in new debt. That is over 2 times the amount of debt America currently has.

Prices are not a function of minimum wage going up, check the historical records yourself.   Unfortunatley, I guess you missed the whole section on "Perfect Competition".  

Second, for the money spent on the Iraq War, a check for $1500+ could be given to every man woman and child.

Yes, if all things are assumed status quo, taxes would need to go up, but you are neglecting other sources of revenue, such as a DECREASE in expenditures.   Obama plans to cut out corporate welfare which is a huge disease costing tax payers billions of dollars.   Obama also plans to cut out corporate loop holes, which would bring in billions of dollars businesses SHOULD be paying right now, but are ducking.

Just tax corporations into bankruptcy, this will cause more unemployment, this means people will have less stress because they are not working and therefore they will be in better health and will not have to go to the doctor.  This Obama, he has got it together, he has a plan.
