My Guess is

She would oppose flag burning due to her public service as City Commissioner, Mayor, and Governor of the State of Alaska.  People up there don't think kindly of that kind of action.

She wore a large Flag Pin Lapel.

She stated she is opposed to special recognition to g*y marriage.

Don't know about the Diversity of thought in Science.  Home schooled her children, so she may support very diverse concepts within Scientific debate.  Not intolerant to ideas.

She is probably opposed.  She has fought against and exposed corruptions at many different levels of government in Republican circles and Democrat circles.  She is a Reformer.
