Where does Tampa Bay go from here?

What will happen to them in the last 2 months of the season.

There gonna a fall.  They are in the AL, and the best division in the AL to boot.  They cannot withstand the power of the Yankees, and the Red Sux.  They will get close, but they will not make the playoffs.

Whether they win, or go home, there's no reason to believe that this won't continue. The division title and wild card won't be decided until the last week of the season.

The Rays pitching has been phenomenal all year and there is every reason to believe this will continue. Tampa's ace Scott Kazmir is known for his second half pitching (8-3 2.39 in 2007) and James Shields and Matt Garza are both having breakout years and are considered to be legitimate front of the rotation starters for years to come, making a fade unlikely from either.

Add in the speed of Iwamura, Upton, and Crawford, and the power of Carlos Pena and Evan Longoria, and a dominant pitching staff is aided by a capable offense.

Finally, we have to look to clubhouse chemistry, which anyone on the Baseball Tonight crew will tell you has been present in the Rays locker room all year, to determine that the Rays should be favored to win the AL East. I predict, ultimately, a loss in the ALCS to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
