  1. What is WaWa? If you are referring to Walmart, they don't own the gas stations they have just made a deal with them to get that 3 cent discount.

  2. WaWa and other companies that are not affiliated with gasoline companies buy their gas from distributors, which is to say they buy from whoever has the gas available at the best price.  One day, the gas in the pump may be from Exxon, another day it might be Sunoco, and then it might be something else.

As you can see, this means that you cannot tell the origin of the gas itself.  It might have come from an OPEC country, it might have come from Russia (Lukoil is from Russia), it might have come from northern Scotland (there are off-shore oil fields there), or from a dozen other countries.  But since most large oil companies get their oil from many sources anwyay, it is pretty hard to avoid OPEC oil no matter where you buy.

    Good luck!!
