Where does a parcel/package go once it arrives in Winnipeg? [Service:Canada Post]?

Like say I bought something from another province, Does it go to a sorting office? If so which one? and would I be able to pick it up instead of them delivering it? Since I need the Parcel really bad, Since its my cousin's B-day present.

You're going to have to wait until they attempt to deliver it to go pick it up. We've had things that were sent to the wrong address (mother in law...lol) and we tried to get them to stop it at the office so we could just pick it up (we even had the tracking number and all of the info) but they said they could not possibly do that and we would have to wait until they tried to deliver it and then we could pick it up with out id. So theres probably not you can do. you can try and contact your local office in winnipeg but i doubt they'll be any more helpful then they were here. sorry
