Where does a shape start and end.?

we are children who are in school (6th grade) and have leared our shapes, but where do they all start...and...end.?.?.?.?.

  2. Shapes don't have starting points and ending points.  Shapes certainly have size and limits, but where you "start" is purely arbitrary.

  3. it starts when you touch the pencil to the paper, and it ends when you lift the pencil off the paper

  4. You are talking about polygons. The definition of a polygon, (as far as I can remember) is an enclosed shape with three or more straight sides. As an enclosed shape it does not have a starting point.
