  1. InBev was already the worlds second largest beer company. They own over 200 different brands throughout the world.

  2. I don't think that company is small!

Secondly if you have Euro, your going to do very well "Buying America".

Lets say a house thats we would have to pay 100K for they would get it for about 70K( with the Euro conversion).

So they're getting Bud rather cheap when you do the math.

They're getting alot of dollars for their Euro's.

  3. The fact that Belgian beer tastes about 70x better than most American beer probably has something to do with it also.

  4. As stated, InBev ain't small.

Most of their brands are 10x better than Bud. Bud will benefit from being folded into InBev...and InBev will probably leave A-B management in place. Sorry to see A-B no longer be a 100% American icon, but if the beer gets better (A-B started with Pale Ales, etc., recently) then it's all good.

There are 300 million folks in the USA...about 75 million of them drink beer.

  5. $50,000,000,000 = 37.20 €

  6. InBev (the Belgian company) actually is pretty large. They already own several brands available worldwide, such as Bass, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Beck's... worth over 14.4 billion Euro.

So in short, not a small company.

  7. They aren't a small company...

  8. Just because Belgium is small relative to the US doesn't mean that they don't have large and powerful companies that can snatch up our large and powerful companies.  Don't forget that everything in the US is on sale right now with our currency so low.
