Where does all the garbage in the world go to?

  1. It gets buried in what are called "Land fills."  which are depressions in the ground that they fill in with garbage and then a layer of dirt.  Sometimes in the past, they have built homes on these sites but, they have found they are not sturdy enough.  Everything but the plastic  turns back into mulch.  Unfortunately, the plastic will never go away.


  2. SOME IS RECYCLED AND THE REST IS BURIED IN THE SOIL.
